What is the difference between Fe 500 and Fe 500D?
Both have 500 MPa yield strength; the D grade has higher ductility (elongation), which is preferred in seismic zones and for heavy structures.
How many bars in a tonne?
About 94 bars of 12 mm, 38 of 20 mm and 15 of 32 mm at 12 m length. See the weight chart above.
